The plot shows the change in computed Brightness Temperature spectra for the 48 regression profiles (at nadir). The 48 regression profiles span the full range of variation in T and H2O we might encounter across the globe. The y-axis is delta BT in Kelvin, and the x-axis is AIRS channel number.

Bias and standard deviation of the delta BT

The plot shows the bias (blue) and standard deviation (red) of the delta BT shown in the plot referenced above. In the case of the 2333 channel, the v7(Dec02) and v8b(Jan04) RTAs agree to within 0.01 K in bias and std.
